Do clients have a expiration from when they are a good client until they are no longer considered a good client?

Yes. I have had clients that only lasted for 2-3 years and others 5+ years. But as things change in life as they tend to do, so do peoples habits.
If a client is no longer communicating their needs and then we start to go in different directions which is usually around the time I start to no longer look forward to the meetings then I will no longer accept meeting request from them. Some realize sooner rather than later that I am no longer seeing them.

It has nothing to do with them seeing others as I always encourage my regular clients to meet and see others. But more so along the lines as its becomes a duty to work with and talk clients through things to get them to a place of being opening making our sessions all worth the while.
