WASHINGTON — The Free Speech Coalition (FSC) recently had its “Statement for the Record” on the debanking of adult industry members read to the U.S. House of Representatives. 

The FSC statement follows:

Free Speech Coalition was proud to hear our Statement for the Record on the debanking of our community publicly acknowledged by Ranking Member Maxine Waters as part of the House Financial Services hearingentitled, “Making Community Banking Great Again” on February 5, 2025. We thank Representative Waters for being a champion for banking access, and to Senate Banking for prioritizing the harm done through “derisking.”

FSC’s submission will become part of the official Congressional Record, continuing the formal dialogue with Congress on this critical issue.
